SDEA's PHR®/SPHR® Certification Preparation Program
Beginning Monday, August 18th, 2008
This development opportunity features the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) Learning System™ course: An intensive fourteen-week program designed primarily for individuals seeking certification as a Professional in Human Resources (PHR®) or Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR®). We offer this program in cooperation with SHRM and Chapman University .
The curriculum, designed by subject matter experts, helps to develop specific competencies and decision making skills. As a certification preparation program, it consistently exceeds the national pass rate. By attending our course, you will receive the added benefits of experienced instructors and a structured classroom environ me nt that enhances learning and helps you stay on track. With our blended approach, you will learn from printed workbooks, software, online tools and a dynamic one-of-a-kind classroom experience.

Participants will benefit from:
Updated content, reflecting legislative changes, recent HR develop me nts and student feed back. An expanded bank of test questions - 1500 in all. More practice tests, formatted to mimic the current HRCI exam experience. A new SPHR® supple me nt, which helps students take a more strategic approach, applying information across functional areas. Access to the new SHRM Learning System™ Resource Center , featuring HR updates, webcasts, test-taking tips, related links and e-flashcards that can be printed or downloaded to a PDA. Periodic online updates covering significant legislation and HR policies changes.

*Retake Policy: If you do not pass the HRCI Exam or if circumstances prevent you from completing this course, you may retake the course within one year of current course start date without incurring an additional tuition fee. However if the SHRM materials have been updated, you may be required to pay for that portion if you retake the course.
