This workshop addresses areas of employer responsibility that are often included as Human Resources Department accountabilities - safety, health and security. These areas have significant compliance actions to meet and serious consequences for non-compliance. You will learn about mandated safety programs and how to install them, such as IIPPs and HAZCOM. You will understand how to respond when OSHA comes knocking and how to reduce your financial exposure, including workers compensation claim risks.
This workshop will address how to promote wellness, the use of EAPs, how to respond if disease suddenly hits your employees, how to recognize potentially violent employees, how to respond to problem behavior, how to handle bomb threats, what to do if law enforcement enters your workplace and much more
